Clonking back end

Help I have a 1994 supra twin turbo

It seems to be making a bad clonking noise when put in reverse or in drive first thought it was prop shaft so had that looked at and and had it tack welded the middle bit to reduce play buy a specialist and a new centre nut put back to seems to have made no difference now it noisy and it seems to be jerking the car round around roundabout or corners and some times in straight lines so still clonking and the drive is no tstables feels slipery any ideas please
