hi all,

im intrigued as to how long you lucky people waited before purchasing your supra.....

im struggling at the moment to be patient as the want for one is greater than ever, especially with my mate letting me have a go in his M3 and his new current toy a converted CRX, im so jealous he gets to enjoy his cars and im stuck saving up constantly lol :(

so my question is how long did it take you to save etc to get one

Thanks

Jamie

I think he means supra, lol, if we are talking actual "dream cars" its going to be awhile...if ever

Ahh, well if he's on about the Supra, I suppose about a week, went to look at an RX7, preferred the Supra so bought that instead. Unless you're on about 'from birth', then 19 years, 11 months and 1 week, HTH :)

Ive always loved the Supra since the first time I ever saw one when I was about 10 but I never thought I would have one, back then or even the first time I got my licence :innocent: When I decided to re take my test 5 years on I started saving for a year while I had a gsi as a run about in then when I finally got a years no claims I bought the Supra :) So an eventfull journey delayed my dream of owning one but after waiting patiently I felt the time was right for my realistic dream car.

Just wait and save the hard earnt and it will all be worth it when the time comes :)

Got my license just over a month after my 18th birthday and then got my Supra precisely (to the day in fact) 40 months after that. :)

Having owned the car for 3 months shy of 4 years, I now have another Supra on the way. Though the current one is for sale to accommodate this. :)

I have a NA so still waiting for a dream car or for that matter one even worth talking about :D

It's worth talking about! As long as you know how to drive it you are laughing. I have had NAs for almost 6 years now dude, only now am I thinking of boosting it.

Had so so many dream cars since I was 17 and got my license (24 years ago!)

Mini 1275GT

Metro Turbo

Nova SRi

Renault 5 GT Turbo

Pug 205 1.9 GTI

Astra GTE

Escort RS Turbo

Rover Metro GTI

MK1 Golf GTI Cab

Cossie (Sierra)

Rover 220 Turbo

Suzuki Vitara wide boy (I know!)

MR2 MK1 (my first Jap dream car)

Subaru WRX

TVR S2

Skyline R32 GTR

740i BMW

E55 AMG merc

Corvette

Camaro

7 Supras !

I have owned tons of stuff inbetween, its no wonder I have no cash, the list of those I still want is forever growing

Got mine when I was 20, 23 now and wouldn't say it's my dream car yet, want to do quite a few jobs to it (which are expensive) for it to become my dream car. I love my car though and got no intentions of selling it, annoying thing is now I'm saving for my first house. If I sold supra there's my deposit but keep thinking what I've saved so far would make my supra happy ;)
