Caesard
I am going to be spraying my front bumper. It is still in gel coat, and I don't want the paint flaking anytime later. What is the best primer to use to spray the bumper before block sanding it. Anything I can get on Fleabay?
Tricky-Ricky
Std 2K primer will be fine, provided you prep the gel coat first, IE spirit wipe and flat with 280 grit.
safcdixon
^^^ as above, std 2pack primer, i used 2pk wash primer when i painted my supra last time which i found easier to use compared to primer i had used in tge past

Chris Wilson
Ask a body shop dealing mainly in fibreglass cars, there are specialist primers available. You may gain some life by using a plasticiser in the paint to keep it from cracking. Lotus and TVR specialists would be good sources of info.
