Injector identification

Slippery

Recommended Posts

I bought some, what I believe to be uk spec injectors for my 96 supra.

Can anyone confirm if they are 550's .Part no is denso 23250 46040. They are purple. I am packing them up to send off to be cleaned and flow tested but don't want to waste my money if they are 440's.

Couldnt find that exact part number on toyodiy mate, found the first part of the number as an injector on my jspec. Maybe worth calling toyota.

I have read so many different sites saying different things don't know which is true. Someone on here must know , many people have done it.

I haven't got part numbers handy but I do have an old photo of the 550's I installed years ago:

That's the colour of mine although people keep saying that they should be grey.

May be easier if I just take one to be flow tested locally and see what comes back .

They are kind of a lavender colour. The j-spec 440's are grey. The plug connection is different because you have to trim the lugs off, and I recall the spray holes are different as well, might have a piccy somewhere.

That would be helpful cheers
