Removing Rear Arm (Lower No.2)

Ill certainly give it a go but

I fear that the relatively short and thin handle on the G clamp(due to the space I've got to work in it can't be huge) wont allow me to put enough torque through it, but it was your G Clamp suggestion which inspired me to design that.

Good luck Josh

Been there and tried just about everything when i did mine.

Big diameter cutting disc is the way to go then replace the arm and bolt.

The bush in the arm will be scrap anyway so a new arm is the way forward

If all else fails this is what I'll resort to, I'm just not entirely comfortable with a grinder:D

Cheers for the help Dunk and all! I will take it on board and I've got the whole of tomorrow to play with it and see what happens.

I'm sourcing a new arm tomorrow:)

When i was doing my suspension, i had to cut 2 of my rear arms off, they wouldn't shift for love or money. Best off getting an ultra thin disc for the angle grinder, or a new rear suspension

Tried to leave them on before, but couldn't sleep at night knowing that these buggers had defeated me.

Keron came through with replacements as usual.

Tried a G clamp, tried a bearing puller and tried brute force. Not having it.

I've cut through the arm now and I'm just attempting to hammer the ball joint out of the back of the hub.

Ill be honest, this job has left a bitter taste in my mouth.
