Mr Cull
I don’t know if this has been covered before elsewhere. This is probably also not the most appropriate place to post this info either (but I couldn’t find another relevant thread where it wouldn’t get completely lost) I’ve never taken a car to France before myself. But I’ve heard from friends who have and they say that sometimes the French authorities are quite strict on the extra equipment you need in/on the car when driving over there. I’ve heard they can somtimes check and then fine cars coming from the uk not long after they have got off the train! Hopefully a member on here who’s got experience of traveling there will be able to elaborate on what I’ve said… Anyway I’ve found a useful link containing a check list off all the relevant documents/equipment you should take with you to France: http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/touring_tips/compulsory_equipment.pdf I managed to order the relevant things I needed on eBay for under £10. It wouldn’t be a good start for half the Supes to get fines as soon as we get to France...
RobUK
It wouldn’t be a good start for half the Supes to get fines as soon as we get to France... You have no idea! 2011 - Abz & Nush nearly got arrested for filming! 2012 - Police didn't like us filling up the motorway and we got offered a police escort out of rotterdam So if we have high-vis, extra bulbs has never really got into the top 10 of things to have in France - I'd be thinking bail money and lawyer as bigger priorities
