listy
for the roundabout lol For anyone you could have ended up the hoop of Why do people seem to think we are impressed by the speeds they can drive at on the road? If you have to "slam your brakes on" you are simply driving too fast for the environment you are in.
leeg
Strange, what modifications have been done? none really, just the air filter and exhaust system, but nothing that is new and I have had the car for three years. the only difference when it went into limp mode the second time, I had then warning light and engine light come on? but with same issues. when I put it to neutal it revs to 1000? Low oil? This happened to me under hard braking as all the oil gets thrown to the front of the engine. But im not sure how the stock ecu reacts to low oil etc. But might be worth checking... leeg
thanks for the advice the oil was fairly low and have topped up since but haven't driven incase same thing happened. cheers no oil light came on at all, but, is it possible those two beeps could have ment something? Like I said I have no idea about the stock ecu and its functions but I guess the two beeps must mean somethings not right. If the oil was low and this has happened after slamming the brakes on it must be this. Find a test track try the same thing and see if it happens again

James
I've edited the thread title to something a little more descriptive, both to aid in letting you find out what is causing the issue but also for future search references if required

listy
As I said, never heard of a stock supra beeping before, unless you leave the keys in the ignition.

safcdixon
The only time my supra felt like it was in limp mode was when a coil pack clip came off (unclipped itself, was worn and knackared) on heavy accelaration maybe worth checking

Chris Bailey
Maybe the "Beep" is telling Ed his boot release button is broken

listy
why so moody? ment for you not swampy With other recent threads regarding ill considered driving techniques, wrong driving style for conditions etc, plus the fact I got some bad news today, I'm not in the best of moods. You just happened to be an outlet for a moment, and I do apologise Could be worse, my wife has had to deal with me (a 26 year old) doing a very good impression of a grumpy old man all evening
