peter richards
well I spoke to soon lol , got picked up at 8.30 yesterday by the mechys son , he said had I had any problems with the battery , nope I replied , I keep it on a trickle all the time and both green lights were showing , so as far as I knew it was ok , but he said it wouldn't start the night before , anyway got to the garage and it was totally flat , jumped it off another and pulled it out , but on full lock it cut out again , so he checked the alternator and that was ok 14.1 on his meter it read , apparently that's ok . so he took out my battery and put in one he had in the shop , got me home , so bought a new one in the afternoon . so now everything should be ok (holds breath)
peter richards
what im concerned about is my trickle was showing me the battery was good , but it died pretty quick when being used , wouldn't hold a charge
supraGZaerotop
Yeah thats strange, im thinking of a getting a trickle charger myself as sometimes the car dont move for upwards of 2 weeks because ive got a lift into work, ive started to make sure i use it more often, just weather is crap, aerotop = sun, well thats what i bought it for :-) good luck with your car, but yeah i leave mine parked up for 1.5 weeks and mine wont start, reads 8 volts. Other than that battery ok
