Removing and cleaning O2 sensor on a TT - help

Is it nigh on the same as on an NA? I know the TT only has one, but is the process the same as THIS thread?

 

Is there a need to remove the air intake and turbo heatshield?

i done this on my NA and it made zero difference mate, they sat in lemon juice for about a week. just buy a new one mate.

hey mate i didnt do it in the end i still need to lol. my car is still on the drive tho not being used ive been waiting for better weather

You might have more luck getting to it from underneath, im sure its just above the 1st decat so should have access from the bottom

i tried from the bottom too but if you have arms and hands like mine then the downpipe might have to come off

This. After changing the first decat, I can guarantee I WILL NOT get at it without removing the exhaust and down pipe.
