_Shane_
I dont have a boost controller yet so i was running the car off the wastegate spring pressure etc I was told by someone on here to join the 2 feeds on the wastegate with a Y and have the other end routed into the intake manifold (this is how i have the wastegate setup at this very moment) The wastegate seems to be open now as soon as car is started as my exhaust gases are flowing out through the screamer pipe and not the exhaust Would i be right in saying that the current setup is wrong and to correct this i would need to tap into the intercooler pipework or the turbo front housing for a feed and then have this plumbed into the wastegate feed to stop the wastegate from opening? Can someone advise me on the correct way please Thanks
Lee P
If your not running a boost controller you just put the side port of the wastgate to a pressure source and leave the top one disconnected. You can adjust spring pressure with the bolt on top of the wasgate depending which one it is. No way of plumbing it should do that though so you probably have another issue
