Guest Samcroft
Hey guys, I have read a lot today about the problem that I have presently. I have a 93 jdm supra TT with usdm turbo. It mean that I could boost more safely than if I had some jdm one. I have bought a greddy profec type-b II and a boost signal limiter from sfs which is a simplereplica of the discontinued greddy boost cut controler. People saying that it wont work on Jdm ecu cause jdm are map when usdm are Maf. The only way it could work for em is to get a piggyback and just plant the BCC between stock ecu and aftermarket piggyback. Is there another way to get this done cause I would like to boost to 18psi and now I would catch the fuel cut at 14.7. I have an upgraded fuel pump, greddy fmic but still on 440cc injector jdm. Please anyone can help find a solution.. If there is no solution to this ill just try to sell my boost controler , the Boost cut controler and the stock ECU and get an aem ems v2
listy
I've not heard of a BCC/FCD being limited to the pre facelift or facelift cars. Have a search on the forum, and there are install guides you can read Welcome to the forum.
Paul Whiffin
Just fit an HKS or Turbosmart FCD, job done, both in stock here.
Ian C
Both MAF and MAP based cars use a MAP sensor to control fuel cut, so an FCD will work on both.
