Tsia
Hi all, Sorry for another one of these posts, I've tried searching but can't seem to find a comprehensive list anywhere of what I'd need to install a 2JZ-GTE from an Aristo TT into a Supra. Is this something anybody would be able to provide at all? Cheers!

Tsia
Thanks Logie, I had bit of a read through it but couldn't seem to find the post where it states what exactly he needed in order to fit this. From what I can gather, I will need the viscous fan from my NA, or better a new one from a TT, a TT water pump and to use my current NA oil sumps with newly drilled holes for the oil lines. The tough part I think is going to be getting hold of the loom, unless I can somehow fit the Aristo loom and ECU in the Supra? Not sure. SPG
You are correct that the loom will be the hardest part to find, the aristo loom if I remember correctly is shorter than the Supra Loom also, once again if I remember correctly the ECU in the aristo sits in the engine bay, but I could be getting mixed up with a soarer. Is your Supra a manual or an Auto
Tsia
It's a manual I suppose, in essence we could just mount the ECU in the engine bay instead?
LOGIE
I just so happen to have a spare loom but its not for sale (yet) untill ive fitted my TT lump and checked that the loom on it works perfectly. I'll keep you in mind but keep an eye in the parts for sale they do crop up. Auto looms work on manuals also Edited April 14, 2013 by LOGIE im a tit (see edit history)

Tsia
Might it also be possible to use a Piggyback ECU system and have it mapped with my NA ECU? Edit: Reason I ask, rather than just getting the ~£350 of TT ECU/Loom, is that I may be able to acquire one from a friend for little to no money. jimojameso
I think you need a different sump aswell!
Tsia
I believe you're able to use the GE sumps & engine mounts, from what I can gather - which is fine, as I'll be pulling a GE out of the car
Swampy442
Just for info the Mk1 Aristo ECU sits in the same place as the Supra ECU.

Swampy442
You dont need a manual loom or ECU, an auto one works fine, the only issues are the reverse switch and the neutral start. And if you use a manual ECU the neutral start problem is removed anyway.
