jay200bhp
Guys as per my previous thread i have bought up from various places all the earls connectors etc for the new breather lines (thanks Hodge) I want to ask if anyone has a picture of how theirs is plumbed with regard to the PSV valve is this blocked off with the passenger side venting into the catch can also? I have research a bit and people say of smoking with no PSV which i want to avoid. Also can the PSV be left in place and the 12an fitting for the aeroquip connector be welded in to the cam cover to run to the catch tank ? ay help appreciated... jay
Tricky-Ricky
From what i understand of that you want to remove the std idle/low throttle side of the PCV system, you can do that but i would plumb it like this, keep both cam cover breathers and either T them together if going -12 or run them both to a sealed catch can, and run another line from the catch can to the turbo intake pipe, that way you will still retain the full throttle/high load side of the PCV system, but if you either baffle, or fill the catch can with stainless scourers which will help most of the oil vapor drop out rather than going back into the intake which is the point of running a catch can.
