_Shane_
The oil / water feeds and returns are all new with no water or oil in them and i want to make sure there is water/ oil going to the turbo upon start up, i dont want to starve the turbo of oil/water etc

tooquicktostop
Prime the turbo is always adviseable mate.. Agree turn over with no spark until everything is primed up, check oil and water is flowing
Ian C
Agree turn over with no spark until everything is primed up, check oil and water is flowing Turning it over with no fuel is better No borewash on an already oil-free block. Just pull the fuel pump plug and crank merrily away.
supra matt
The best way is to remove the air filter and hold the compressor wheel while somone starts the car hold it for around 30s before releasing.
RobUK
Turning it over with no fuel is better No borewash on an already oil-free block. Just pull the fuel pump plug and crank merrily away. I managed this by accident missed one of the washers between the fuel line and fuel filter so ended up with about 2 litres of fuel on the garage floor :S - primed everything really nicely though
_Shane_
Going to start the car this evening, was told to pour a tea spoon of oil into the oil feed and then spin the compressor, leave the oil return off when starting it up first time to make sure oil is flowing through the turbo If i just unplug the coilpacks will that be enough? Thanks guys
