bradleyh_15
would you not just put your carpet over it? Mine is a Tein one and is very low and you would hardly know that it was their if you put the carpet over the top
JZ480
Not sure how you would hide it from view. I know the straight cusco ones are lower profile but still very visible. Guest Nicholas
I don't think any sit flat enough to not protrude Alex. You could go for a really nice Carbon rear cusco one. http://www.tunershop.fr/tunershop/images/660551A.JPG
Alex
Well as low as possible then... That Cusco looks like it's close to what I want. The DoLuck looks low too...but it's mega bucks.
Nic
As said I don't think there are any that would fit underneath the carpet. The Carbing rear brace sits lower than most, they also bolt to the cross member for extra rigidity, very light in weight too. http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/9499/p3150092tz6.jpg http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/1822/p3310126fu8.jpg http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/1295/p3310127nj1.jpg

Sits flush with the surface if the carpet and out of them all would be the one that would sit the lowest IMO
Alex
Nic, can you get Carbing ones? And if we're looking that that I may need TRD ARB's after an expensive chat with CW! Just found out by chance the bar I have across the top of the rear seats is an "Abflug Rear Hatch Reinforcement Bar" - Or Abflug Decapitation Bar as I call it. DodgyRog
I have the Carbing one also and it only just sits above the carpet I can't see that any will be lower than this Before I cut the carpet
JZ480
Sorry to hijack the thread but how much is the do luck one? and the carbon cusco one?
Chris Wilson
If anyone cares to consider the tension and compression loadings across the rear strut tops they will realise any of these are a total waste of time and money. The loadings are vertical or lozenge torsional, and that bit of ill conceived soft oval alloy tube will do nothing save what some have realised, get in the way. Play fair Mr Wilson, they look nice, especially the carbon one...............
Alex
Chris, appreciate your comments... will bear it in mind. On a side note if someone made an X brace using the turret tops and the rear seatbelt top mounts (where the belt comes out of the plastic) would this have a positive effect or again not add the desired effect? Just curious.
