Guest SupraStill
...... having just recently purchased my first house, I have just realised that it's quite expensive running a Supra,.... I have (with a lot of nagging by the missus) decided to sell my pride and joy,...... ....... I have had it on Autotrader etc,... with what I thought was a good price compared to others on there, but have had absolutley no calls at all,..? (aprt from constant calls from canvassers) .... I tried contacting a couple of garages who advertise as 'wanting all Supra's', but they practically wanted me to give them the car for free,.... any one know if there are any good garages etc,... which would give a good price for a supra,? I know It will be less than I really want for it, but I don't want to get ripped off,

colsoop
Put it on ebay with a very high reserve price, put it on a 10 day listing and use it to advertise your car, quite a few people say this method gets a lot of attention.
Phoenix_TT
Hey Suprastill and others I'm trying to sell my sup, advertised in autotrader and also on here and another uk supra forum. No joy what-so-ever. Mines a 93 GZ TT, 63k miles, in stock condition. Advertised it for £8,750 which I thought was about right. If you have any advise on how to sell I'd appreciate it. People say ebay is a waste of time. Cheers Geoff
colsoop
Your not trying to sell your car on ebay you are trying to advertise your car, it is much cheaper to advertise on ebay and it reaches a wide audience, thats why you put a high reserve on the car

Scarface GTti
Mines on EBay, in the local rag, on here, etc. No bites at all. Plenty of people wanting part exchange but my bank doesn`t take cars as payments on loans! Just have to hang on in there and keep trying. I`m guessing that the fuel price at the minute won`t help. Gazboy
Cars generaly aren't selling at the moment, due to uncertainty. Why not get a cheap hack to runaround in, and keep the Supe for weekends?
