Kaan W
Hi all, I have some aftermarket electrical fans that need wiring up which I have some diagrams of how to do this with relays etc but my question is, can they be wired to the stock aux electrical fan wiring to run through the fusebox so I can have all my fuses and relays where they should be, and also make it easier to get to if a fuse was ever to blow? I know the main concern is thicker cables for the extra current aftermarket fans use but would the oem ecu switch them on at the correct tempreture or is the small aux fan switched on at a different tempreture? Ive searched the manuals but cant find what temp the ecu switches this fan on at. Thanks.

Kaan W
Have Dude wire them in Yeah he is mate, just checking if they can be wired to the stock fuse and relay positions even if they are controlled by the syvecs. I just didnt want to have fuses around the body and wanted them in the fusebox as stock.

Lee P
That is right but we add fuse positions to the fuse box and do not use the standard fuse for the fans. We add 2 relays one for each fan as they must be done separately and use Toyota fuse wires and fit them into the fuse box in positions that are not being used. all the wiring is added we do not use any of the standard wiring. Thanks Lee thats what I thought, basically replace everything but keep to the stock locations of parts. Did you solder the new wires straight onto the fuse board? Also where did you fit the relays? Edit: Ignore the dumb question the wires would obviously need to be soldered to the fuse board if the positions are not being used.
