viper
Hi all, im fitting my T04R kit at the moment, i had to remove the box so just pulled the engine out as well to save faffing with tight spaces. Iv removed the stock twins and fitted the manifold and T04R turbo, as it not water cooled i have a number of water lines and pipes im really not sure to do with that are still attached to the block along with lots of other bits and bobs im a little unsure of what to do with. Please could you review the images below and give me some advice, i think i may have chewed off a bit more than i can chew with this project so any help or advice would be realy appreciated. listy
I've not done a single build (yet ) but if I remember correctly, what you have there in pic 4 is the wastegate actuator? I think. If you are running an external wastegate (i think you need to when single?) then I *think* it either a) gets blocked off, or b) gets removed. The plugs for it also end up surpless to requirements. DO NOT CHOP ANYTHING UP BECAUSE OF WHAT I HAVE SAID, I MAY BE WRONG!!!!!!!
viper
Thanks buddy, I beleive you right. Can anyone else confirm please?
Slutters
Right the connections in pic 4, leave them all unplugged, if your running AEM you can use the blue plug as boost control, if not leave it unplugged.
viper
I'm using a MAP ecu so I guess I unplug and everything and block everything else off, as ill be using an avcr for boost control
