sdistc
Actually, I misquoted the price. Just optioned up an R/T, and it's only $29k USD.
Jamesy
How much is that one you posted as your desktop mate? Im assuming there is no option to buy one kitted like that lol
sdistc
How much is that one you posted as your desktop mate? Im assuming there is no option to buy one kitted like that lol It's actually a pretty stock R/T - plus vinyl wrap, SSRs, and *I think* the shaker hood was extra too. But black 5.7L hemi V8 6 speed manual will be $29k - plus whatever a new set of coilovers and SSRs would cost. Of course, for me I wouldn't be able to leave it stock exhaust or stock motor.. so allow $40k total
tooquicktostop
If I was to buy another it would be a 68 camaro with a supercharged engine or a Plymouth Barracuda, they are stunning It's worth remembering a big american V8 does not actually do that many miles to the gallon ! Rob_Mitchell
I'm a huge fan of old Skool cars and big American muscle but I just don't think I could own one. I love seeing them at shows and have a good read on forums about projects cars ect... But that's it for me.
Shane
I just saw a 71 boss mustang. Looked cool. Bright red/orange colour I saw that too, it was at an old skool car show being held at the new American diner in Finedon on the A6. Loads of really nice motors and a nice venue as well. Will post some pics in a minute when I can find my cable.

Although I wouldnt mind a new challenger like the matte black one in this thread

pbryant_knight
have you tried the Classic American magazine? They always have a load of classifieds in. It's available from WH Smiths. Also, the MPG depends largely how you drive it. Bigger engines tend to mean you don't have to push them as hard to move them around. If i drive my 3.8V6 firebird normally then i get the same MPG as i do in my 2.0 cars. A guy at a show last year had a dodge viper V12 with an 8 litre engine or something and he has a similar experience. Not that i think you'll be wanting to drive it economically mind you Peter
steve.m
I'm a massive American muscle and classic car fan and have been for many years, In fact the Supra is the newest car I've owned other than the daily cars. I used to work in classic car restoration for a few years and have owned Approx 10+ Ford Capri's as well as a few other classic fords. I love most American muscle cars and will own one at some point. I have a bit of a thing for the '67' Pontiac GTO. I also know of one which has just come up for sale not to far from me and it's taking all my might not to sell up and buy it!
