Tyson
My renewal came through for my multicar policy from Admiral and it was an astronomical 1370 quid after a phone call it went down to 933. This was by far the best quote but thought that I would try Sky again to see what they could do for me, last year they couldn't compete with Admiral but this year they quoted me happy with 900 quid. Plus the excess on both cars is less than before, slightly higher mileage on the supra and agreed value which I am in the process of doing. Very happy. Big thanks to Alex at Sky who was very polite and helpful
Dnk
That's a good saving from where you started. I didn't think Sky did agreed value though ?
charlton
I didn't think Sky did agreed value though ? I have agreed value too, just waiting to get mine back from its respray and then for Sky to confirm the value
listy
I have agreed value with Sky also, at £8000. So my Supra will not be going anywhere unless the market dramatically improves, and with what I'd saved, I'd have enough to get a ready built single. Tyson
That's a good saving from where you started. I didn't think Sky did agreed value though ? Yeah it's a great saving and I asked and they told me they did do agreed value but I think it is only on limited mileage policies.

Mines unlimited mileage as its my daily, and I still have agreed value. I think it depends on the actual insurer, as Sky is a broker. Mine is with Chaucer. Tyson
I didn't mention I was part of a club, did any of you ?
listy
I did mate. They require you to send proof of membership, but that's it. Gets you a discount too
safcdixon
I didn't mention I was part of a club, did any of you ? 10% off I think, Im with Sky too and Im sure that's what the Discount was. Although that may have been the saving with flux a few year back, defintley worth a phonecall though to find out
Shane
I have to say that Sky seem to be coming up with some great prices recently, Like Tyson, last year they couldn't come close to other quotes I had and I moved away but pleased to say this year they gave me a great deal. So the moral of the story is that even if they don't quote good on one renewal, don't rule them out on the next. They were also very helpful getting my NCD woes sorted out. Tyson
Just found out they already have done as they have all my details from last year when they quoted me. Still a great price though
