hackin_n_bashin
Has anyone here managed to safely mount their seat lower than using the low mounted seat rails. I need more than the inch drop that these will give me, to get in and out comfortably I'd like to drop the seat around 2 inches, which means cutting out the OEM seat mounts. Pics would be very helpful Adam
pedrosixfour
I've no pics of the work mate but I did cut out the cross-members that the OEM seats are fixed to. I used some heavy wall 1" box section, shaped to suit the contours of the floor-pan, as new cross-members and bolted the seat side mounts through these and the floor. Worked a treat, solid as a rock and my ass is now covered in road rash.
