TubbyTwo
Hi folks, Does anyone know of a company that makes a single hose that replaces the stock one circled in this picture? I have now gone through 2 OEM rubber hoses, the last one split due to the cold in the flexi joint when moving the air box about to remove a headlight. I'm sure I have seen one before, but the likes of Samco don't appear to list anything. Any help would be great. Si.
mattdavies
I would be interested in this, the other option is two silicon elbows and metal pipe
TubbyTwo
I would be interested in this, the other option is two silicon elbows and metal pipe Looked at that option as a possible, but more places to to get an air leak.
Kaan W
Looked at that option as a possible, but more places to to get an air leak. It should be pretty air tight, although if anything air would leak into the pipe under boost.
ashbuster
use mikalor clamps
Dan_Turism0
surely wouldn't cost much for someone to fab one up?
safcdixon
A leak there wouldnt really matter anyway as its not part of the pressurised part of the cooler system

mplavery
use mikalor clamps I don't like these at all, I have a load of these and personally prefer a good old jubilee clip I looked in getting me of these too, if someone can do a silicone replica of the OEM one I would be very interested

Edit: Or this - http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/tape.asp The oem hose cracks at the ends, so not really strong enough now they are pushing 20 years old. Mine has started to crack, but not causing a problem yet. Will keep an eye on this thread for options.

Dnk
I had a silicon hose made for this along with a custom made hard pipe but that was to fit the uk spec maf, i used mikalor clamps and never had a problem. Their way better than thin jubilee style clamps that cut into the hose Edited April 4, 2013 by Dnk (see edit history)
