monkey76364
Ok well I don't know much if anything on this so a little help please. Am looking at replacing my front and rear drop links and bushes and am just looking at different options, what do Powerflex or similar makes add that a standard replacement doesn't have, is there really a noticeable difference for the price you pay extra? Nick85
I'm looking to do the same so watching with interest for more info. All I've managed to find out is it makes the car feel tighter and a harsher ride.

ashbuster
from threads i have read on here super pro is the better option over the powerflex but you would be advised stock. i think there is a thread on here somewhere that jamie had them fitted and they were terrible
Dnk
I have no idea what these power flex bushes are like or how long they last but one fact is when the ball joints fail or get play in them you'll have to replace the whole arm.
ashbuster
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?230020-New-suspension-bushes-advice&highlight=powerflex+bushes I put a full powerflex kit on my car, total shit that wore out in under 6 months, the car was all over the road as LeeP can confirm, went back to new oem and its been perfect ever since. ............................................... thats the thread , i have bought powerflex rear arb because they were cheap on ebay but havent put them on yet i think ill go with superpro or stock since reading this
mihai
Powerflex bushes are good, the Drifters use them!
Nick85
So avoid like the plague lol. I'm getting close to needing one upper arm (might as well get both) so saving for that. Car is a 93' N/a is there any difference in N/a and TT upper arms? Also can you buy just stock bushes for the rest of the suspension if needed? Dnk
I think you can buy the bushes that fit in the strut rod on the rear but the rest are all complete arms only.
