Guest Zopra
Hi guys! My tuner removed my rpm limiter when he tuned my car. Now I'm using my supra for drifting, so I really want this one back on again (No, tuner can't do it, he's in japan). You have any good suggestions of what aftermarket rpm limiter I might buy? And I know I have a DLI distributorless ignition. tried googling it, but cant find any rpm limiter that goes with that On the MSD Ignition website I found this one: http://www.msdignition.com/Products/RPM/Timing_Controls/RPM_Controls/8728_-_Soft_Touch_Rev_Control.aspx Will it bolt right up on my stock ignition system? Info says it's for GM HEI Ignition, Ford or Chrysler electronic ignition, any standard breaker points systems or even with an MSD 5 or Blaster Ignition (non-CD ignitions). Is the supra in any of these categories? Hope you can help
s50b30
What ecu are you using? Should be really simple to dial in rpm limiter yourself. Unless you have hks f-con are some other wierd shit. Sounds like a waste to fit a aftermarket rpm limter, when you already have it in the ecu.
Guest Zopra
hehe, I have the f-con I can get a tuner company in norway to get it in the f-con ecu. but still I think I want an ignition amplifier, and I have the MSD 6A from my old cosworth. and it worked like a dream in that car! So the aftermarket rpm limiter is out of the question now. but I think I have to buy coils pr cylinder from MSD. I dont think the 6A will work like this out of the box in a supra... Am I right?
