Dnk
I'm interested to know when running a turbo 2jz motor do you really need oil squirters ? Is this simply because of higher piston temps due to it being a turbo engine ? What will happen if you don't ?
d-_-b
I'm no professional engine guy nor do I claim to be, but the NA-T's seem to cope fine without oil squirters..

dan294
You thinking of doing an NA-T Dunk?
Dnk
You thinking of doing an NA-T Dunk? No mate, i just wondered if this was Toyota playing safe or its a must have when you slap a turbo on
Noz
From NA-T journals there doesn't seem to be a problem without, therefore there wouldn't have been a problem in he first place. I can't see it being done to prevent a problem occuring. Perhaps as you say, playing it safe. It would be brilliant to measure cylinder temperature with and without them being used as a comparison.
