Paint code help

Ok basically when I bought my car it was advertised as being "Ferrari" red, was from a member on here girlracer... Now I guess i was a little naive and just assumed it was supra red and she was just being girly "ooh looks like a Ferrari" etc. I was planning on getting a face lift bumper and wing in red as I desperately need them replaced as they look terrible after a run in with a high kurb. Problem I face is I have looked through pages and pages of history and receipts and can't find any info on the respray and more importantly the paint code. I no longer have her number,pms and she hasn't been on here in ages!

 

Through delving through her old posts I have Sussed it was resprayed in Ferrari rosso red. But a quick google has shown there are various different rosso reds. Would a body shop be able to sus out which it was, do you think?

 

Also does anyone know how much a complete blow over in the same colour would set me back roughly? As in some places the paint is literally flaking off

A bodyshop should have chips with the different rosso reds on and match it as best as they can from there, no idea on cost though but I doubt it would be a blow over if the paint is flaking off though, as there may be a problem with the lower coat of paint.

Cheers, yeah I guess that makes sense they would. Hmm it's only in a few places, around the door handles and on one of the rear quarters by the window. Certainly not a full respray job! Just thought a blow over in the same colour would improve the overall look!
