Ive fitted my single turbo kit and before i put everything back i thought i would start it. However it cranks but does not start unless i use easy start and hold gas down. Pumps working but im wondering if the used injectors i got off a member is working. Any ideas?

hang on, have you had the ecu corrected to fuel accordingly with the 800cc?

Its still running on the standard ecu. Ive got a standalone hks fcon. But im waiting on ryan to fit and map it. Do you think this could be the problem?

thats the problem mate, dont run it like that , you will brake it. untill it has a map for the injectors put the stock ones back in. the injectors are only being pulsed for oem injectors. if it is holding them open for the same duration on 800cc it will be massively over fuelling and the bore wash will lose your compression hence the not starting , the easystart sends compression through the roof so running it on that is not a great plan either

I understand that but as they are used injectors i thought that would be the problem. I dont know where to test them. I thought i could run the 800cc injectors calmly untill i get it mapped

no mateyoul be doing your cylinder walls and rings no good atall , injectors are controlled by very specific puls times. @43 psi if you hold an 800cc flow rate injector open the same amount of time as a 400cc flow rate injector it will be putting in twice as much fuel. trust me. the oem ecu will not run 800cc injectors.

Thats good news to me then. Do you know where i can test my injectors? Thank you so much for your help

a few traders on here can do flowtests. if you pop your oems in it will purr untill you ecu is fitted and mapped for it just stay away from boosting it

Thats what im going to do then. I hope the injectors are ok. Ill ask the traders

so would he have to send the ecu off to have a map set to these injectors first?

because if he takes the car to the mapper ready to map it means he would have to strip the car down there to change the injectors at the place

Another option would be to get everything fitted and trailer it to the dyno or possibly have Ryan fit the ECU and load a basemap so it can be driven to the dyno for final mapping.

Best bet is to discuss with Ryan ;)
