Noz
I have MT stress radials on a set of 17's. Will these be ok for an MOT? They are within the use line. May sound silly but I've never thought about it. I would assume they would be ok, but want to ask people with more experience. Thanks
adam1983
So long as they are street legal and within the 1.6mm limit then I can't see an issue
dr_jekyll
should be ok, ive motd cars with race wets that clearly say competition use only on them but knowbody seems to notice lol
Westy
Technically no as they are not e marked, but as sated above I'm sure they will be fine!
Ian C
Isn't the limit 2mm these days? Across 75% of the tyre width minimum?
adam1983
Technically no as they are not e marked, but as sated above I'm sure they will be fine! I thought they were mate. If that's the case then I suppose it depends where you take it. MOT seems to be getting more strict by the year though.

adam1983
Isn't the limit 2mm these days? Across 75% of the tyre width minimum? Is that a recent change? I always thought it was 1.
Benjy
1.6mm over 75% This. But it has to be the centre 75% of the tyre too.
