Guest Singapore Snoop
I just bought a MkIV Supra in Thailand where I have a holiday home. (I work in Singapore). It's a 1997 model and I believe imported from Japan. Supra's cost between 20 and 30K GBP here for something reasonably decent....so not that cheap. Any other members out in Asia? Yes, there is a member that goes by 'Garage2000' I think that has a collection of cars that lives in Thailand, I imagine he would be a very good contact for getting any type of work done to your Supra. My place is in Hua Hin. About 2 to 3 hours from BKK on the Gulf of Thailand. Check out Siamspeed on the net for the Thai Supra scene.

Guest Singapore Snoop
i spent 6 years in HK from 2000 to 2006. Great place. I had 2 Supra's during my time there. A black manual normally aspirated Supra and an immaculate white twin turbo. Really hated having to say goodbye to them when i moved to Singapore. Guest Singapore Snoop
Thanks. The wheels were a big attraction when looking at the car. I keep wondering if i should paint the inner spokes black. which seems like the thing to do right now but I'm not convinced. Any thoughts? I left a post a few weeks back on the Thai guys thread but haven't heard back from him. I would like to have someone look at the car first and then take some advice from someone who knows that they are talking about. The care appears to have had some engine mods and has been lowered but I need to know exactly whats been changed. At the moment in the lower gears for instance and in the dry, when I floor it and the second turbo kicks in, the wide rear tyres break traction which i don't seem to remember happening in my previous Supra's. Could be too much power, bad suspensions set-up, crappy tyres or a combination of all 3......who knows?
