lewysdanny
Out in my 95 tt BPU today and under a quick blast of boost started to mis-fire. This only lasted 5-10 secs then back to normal. It only went back to normal when i took my foot off the throttle. Has anyone got any ideas.?? Tim ( lewysdanny )
listy
Sticky vsv? Maybe IACV. I have a similar problem now Tim. Does it sound similar to this? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?286925-Kangaroo-hopping
Paul Whiffin
If its a misfire its normally igntion. Take a look at your coil pack connectors as they can break up with old age. If they are ok next place to look is your spark plugs, if they are good then its new coil pack time. Paul

Guest Goss
mine would misfire under boost because my plugs had too much gap. I had to switch to a .032" and 1 heat state cooler.

lewysdanny
Well guys i suppose its a case of elimination. Ive just changed the discs and pads on off side today. Tomorrow will be the near side , then i,ll change the plugs. If its not plugs i,ll go for coil clips. If alls not well, then i,m looking at major bucks to change the coil pack itself. That's my plan mate. Sorry I've not called, I've been pretty busy lately. I'm going to be doing my plugs etc late one night this week, as its the only spare time I've got to do it. If it was in a few weeks time, would have had more time to meet up and get them both done
