Well this happened again today, after not doing it for weeks.

It only seems to happen after a short journey, and its when the first turbo should kick in. I get a misfire, to the point where it violently jolts the car.

Coil pack clips and spark plugs have been changed in the last month or so.

I'm going to pull the plugs to see if there is any fouling over the weekend.

 

I've also noticed straight after a drive, at warm idle, you can smell excess fuel from the exhaust.

I'm thinking it may be related.

Would it be recommended to change the fuel filter and pump? I have no idea when they were last done, if ever.

Could a suspect pump or filter cause a misfire?

 

I'm kind of clutching at straws in the hope I don't need new coil packs :taped:
