MattP
Hi everyone as some of you are aware I ordered a brake caliper seal kit front and rear from Chris Wilson. Well they turned up today But there are two parts in the kit im not sure about can somebody clarify there purpose they are the 2 black circular rubber pieces to the left of the red bleed nipple covers in the picture I am assuming they are replacement slider pin seals is this correct? MattP
I see this was what I suspected would there not then be 2 slider seals per caliper so 4 front and 4 back

Robzki
Only one of the sliders on each side have these pieces iirc. I think they are just there to stop the annoying click as you go from forwards to reverse. Could be wrong though. It has been a year or so since I rebuilt mine with a CW kit. No seizing calipers here anymore

add heywood
I think they fit onto the end of one of the slider pins per caliper, bottom one iirc... One of the pins will have an old one on
Chris Wilson
Anti rattle rubbers for the slider pins. I personally don't fit them as they make the sliders more prone to seizure. You *MAY* get a clunk going from forward to reverse, you may not.
