    • Leave it as it is, I mean why start worrying now?
    • This, out of all your crap ideas, sucks the worst. Change it.

I'm in the forklift repair industry so I have a working knowledge of hydraulic systems, in general.

 

Testing and repairing the steering components myself if necessary wouldn't hold much trepidation for me, well, the pump anyway, a rack could just be easier and cheaper to replace depending on what might be lurking in my own.

 

Once I'm sure the system is properly bled after the cooler install I'll take a look for obvious signs of cracked or porous lines that might be letting air into the system.

 

If nothing is apparent I'll break out the gauges and take it from there.

 

Reservoir was stripped and cleaned prior to fitting it to my NA pump, this was done after the engine conversion.
