lockys96
was damm close, it was a 93 twinturbo manual in red, with 98,000kms had front bodykit, not sure which, exhaust, really nice split rims, down side was the front bumper was cracked in a number of places, and the rear bumper had some marks on it, but was all cosmetic and i hoped this would put some of the traders off at auction. however all 4 tyres were shot, so around 700-800 for some new rubber. it went for £5,600 i bided til £5,500 but would have kept kreeping up and up out of my current budget of 7k. would have needed a cambelt change and service, usual mot work, as its an import. auctin fee of 150. there was a black auto twin which went for 4,800 im just feeling gutted, i waited 4 hours for it to go through the auction. Homer
Where are you bidding mate? Is it with the auctions in Japan?
MichaelG
If the car is good enough, i dont think a few cosmetic details would put anyone off.
merckx
im just feeling gutted, i waited 4 hours for it to go through the auction. Know how you're feeling! Went to BCA auction at Manchester last year, hoping to get this BMW 540, cream leather, all the extras and in immaculate condition.Went for just a little more than I wanted to pay, really disappointed at the time as the car was spotless. Glad I got the Supra instead though. Hopefully there'll be more appearing at the auctions for you .
