David P
A feature on J spec auto's, pressing the red button releases the selector from Park without having to have the ignition turned on. It's a yellow mechanics maintenance aid. Edited March 15, 2013 by David P (see edit history)

David P
Why didnt they put it on UK specs? U.K. mechanics at special, chosen by appointment only dealerships were trained to turn the ignition key instead. Maybe Mr. T. was worried his Japanese mechanics might defect to the U.K. and he didn't want them to know how to work them? David P
Ok thanks You'll need to control the Punisher's puddle sucker with another button, if you have after-market seats, the redundant seat heater buttons could be used for a twin puddle-sucker unit.
