hi guys and girls... :nyah:

thought id join up as i met a few more of your group on sunday at the bovingdon meet...im the one on the blue and silver hayabusa bike that had a few runs with some of you and had a nose around the cars,i was hanging about with tony and christian.

just to say had a great day even though i now need a new rear tyre and thought what a great bunch of guys you all are...mind you the braking zone was a bit on the short side for a bike trying to stop on one wheel and a credit card size lump of tyre footprint but it kept me awake as im sure some of you saw (that fence seemed to get closer every time !) :help:

i have a supra myself (knackered old mk3 that im getting ready to use as a track car) that used to be my daily vehicle.

if i can be of any help to any of you then you only have to ask-im a mechanic and will try to help/answer any questions you might have though im sure some of the guys here have much more experience with supras than i do,even so like i said you only have to shout.

i did notice you were looking for dosh that wasnt paid on the day and as i used the strip i am happy to stump up my share and will add my membership money to the cheque aswell.

will try and get the supra up 2 spec soon and trailer her to a meet fairly soon.

cheers to the organisers and the few people i met and hello to everone else, see you all soon i hope.

wow-thanks for all the hello's...i dont really know what the 0-60 time is as bikes dont seem to measure that way...on the standard gearing it will pull 70 odd in first so if you can launch it ok then yep id say 1.5 or 2 secs sounds about right...its the launch thats the tricky bit..bovingdon was slippy so it span well which i prefer as it doesnt give me a mouth full of clocks...mine is down geared a bit so it tuggs harder..last year i was doing low 10 quater mile with it but had crap starts,im sure i could hi 9 it.....its 180 odd horse,210-215 kg,101 lb/ft torque and 200mph rattling on the limiter with the gearing i have at min...plenty fun....it will pull 0-flat out and stop again in bout mile n half or so if the surface is good..it gets it most times its taken out too,its like my own little gurkha sword.

thats an awesome bit of kit you have there yourself CJ.
