a98pmalcolm
Hay all. I have 13.5" brembo rear brakes. The bell of the disk is alloy so its just made a coarse and ruff surface which keeps wrecking handbrake shoes so I keep having no handbrake and I'm sick of changing them so I contacted GSM and they say that Brembo don't sell the bells separately So I have 2 options. 1. Has a member on here have a spare rear one so I can send off and get some custom steel ones made, then I can send it back to you. OR 2. Does anyone know a company that would sell them? Please let know if you have any ideas or can help. Thanks Paul
JamieP
Strange, they was on my car for 3 years and I never changed the handbrake shoes once, something is not right.
a98pmalcolm
Hi Jamie. The alloy in the bells looks like its braking off in tiny pieces. And its nit a smooth surface inside. I don't pull my handbrake up while driving or anything odd like that only to park.. Not much else it can be bud. It demolishes pads... a98pmalcolm
Not at all Chad. Its not rubbing at all when the wheel is in motion.. And fully functional when the handbrake is pulled. For a few weeks...
Callaway Motorsport
No way to repair the current one? or is there too much damage? surely you should be able to get it resurfaced if the damage is minimal.
a98pmalcolm
I can't send mine off anywhere as I use my car as a daily runner...
