Gazboy
Never done the 1/4 mile, but just for amusement, recorded 250bhp at the wheels, 153mph after 1.5 miles of Brunters. (auto jdm).

Do you have the 1/8 mile time and speed to go with that? I need at least two speeds and times in order to work out the acceleration at the 1/4 mile point, plus a trap speed. Digsy
Can I just say that this is really fecking difficult? I've spent about 4 hours on this today, in breaks and lunchtime plus a bit after work. I'm still coming up with daft low power figures. I'll keep banging away at it... Digsy
I'm still banging away at this in the background. I could really use some more info and some more timeslips / HP figures to work with. Jake has already given me some stuff. What I need from the rest of you is: Rear wheel and tyre size. For the manual drivers, shifting style when drag racing - approx what revs you change up at. Assuming late shifting, some of you are coming out very close to the redline im 4th when you cross the line and I'm wondering whether you would have changed up before then. It makes a big difference to the calcs. An idea of whether you have any big wings or anyting that would increase the frontal area of your car would be handy, too. TIA.
