mitchell
Hi there, I have done a little research and having water in the passenger footwell as well as no heating is pretty set on to be a duff heater matrix. Ive yet to look at coolant levels, flush the matrix or check the rod behind the heater console. Do you think its worth me checking these things or is it a dead cert to be the matrix? If the matrix is bust, will flushing it just put more water in the footwell or even worse, over the rear of the console/ electrics? Cheers
Nic
Coolant in the footwell will be a leaky heater matrix, you either blank it off and do without a heater or it's a dash out job to replace it.
Paul Whiffin
Sounds like heater matrix to me, dash out job, we can do it here if you cant do it yourself.

mitchell
Cheers guys - the unit it as the mechanics at the mo but he is having trouble. Do you know if you need to remove the air con unit to get to the matrix? If so, will it need regassing? Thanks
