Your opinion on drugy’s/Bit of a rant

As the tile says really.

OK I know some of us have or do do the odd bit of pot every now and then. But what’s your opinion on other types?

Just asking as I’ve just had a run in with someone (who was a good mate a year or so a go until they got heavily into to drugs). Well run in is not the word really, more like their on a come down from being wized up all weekend and came and knocked on my parents front door and had a go at me for no reason apart form I look at them like a piece of shit apparently (never noticed this before). I don’t talk to them anymore cause of various things and I’m not going to go out of my way to say hello if I don’t like someone.:blahblah::blahblah::blahblah:

My main concern is for my parent’s house as they are away, and my car. As I have just been informed she’s smashing up her own house at the moment.

What do I do leave it and wait and see if she forgets it, or do I inform the police? :help:

Yes, I do smoke the green, but I don't touch anything else...

WHATEVER you do, don't get involved otherwise it could result in you getting harmed, my best advice would be to phone the police if there is damage being done.

Ask their advice, just say you are worried for your safety and they will probably go round and have a word with her.

Just be careful, harder drugs change a person complete from being a rational person into being unpredictable and neurotic.

:thanks:That’s where it becomes catch 22 Gav.

If I phone the police and ask them to speak to a bunch of smack heads their going to know exactly who it came from. Thus I will get hurt, if I don’t I will get hurt or the house. It’s not me I’m worried about as I’m not at home much it’s the house, she’s broken the front gate already and as above smashed up her own house cause she was to scared to touch me at that point. But when she gets high again nothings going to stop her and it doesn’t matter how afraid of me she is she will be high and wouldn’t careless. I’ve seen many people change through drug use. I have to go pass their house to get the local shops. So when I am home I’m going to feel like a bloody prisoner. She was a really good mate once and now look. I could say a lot to the police about them and even where they store the stuff ect. But again it will be putting myself in the firing line. I know I should speak to the police to inform of the situation and given their background, I just don’t want them acting upon it until something does happen – if you get my drift!

She's just sent one of the kids down again with a letter this time saying she is really sorry and wants to be friends again. - I think not

if you want to keep things safe, accept the apology but give a friendly warnin that it can't happen again because it affects other people other than you

and tell her you have a pig farm :D

I think my subject line says it all.

I have been down this route dude with a crowd I used to associate with. I chose to leave. I think the only way you can protect your parents and you house, car etc is to get CCTV put up. Ignore them and if they do anything well you will have evidence rather than reporting to the police.

Fully agree with Tdaxgav. Best to leave it.

Good luck fella as it sounds harsh. Kids? Her kids or both of yours?

Dude - I want to know what kind of treatment the kids get if she did that to you? Not trying to stir things but it is a question that needs to be asked....

GeordieSteve: Yep, but she will be back on it again soon. 3-4 lines a night.

Kopite: I have accepted the apologies and have for warned her that I do n to appreciate her coming round here and behaving like that.

Raymanuk: FEMALE not fella:p. They are her kids. The CCTv thing. I would but it’s not my house, so not my money going out. Good idea though. Well I have this letter now if anything does happen, I have some evidence

You can do cctv on the cheap if you have a pc with a broadband connection in the house.

All you need is a cheap cctv cam £25ish (with the infrared LED's for night vision) B&Q do these but you can get them cheaper, ALDI used to sell them and may still do.

A cheapo PC TV card with a composite input and a piece of software like webcam now.

Set it to upload an image every 10 sec's or so via FTP to some webspace and also a copy on the HD.

There you go CCTV for around £50

Well she didn't come round last night for that chat, like she said she would in the letter. Never mind no loss really. But the kids have been back knocking at the door today, five minuets knocking on the doorhttp://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_28.gif bloody annoys me when someone knocks the door and you don't answer it after the second knock and they carry on.
