ManwithSupra
Hi All, Doing a service on the Supra today and went to change the Diff oil. As I undid and pulled the drain plug out it seems the Plug magnet came off?? Now I am stuck with the magnet part still in the diff housing and it wont come out I have just spent 6 hours trying to coax it out with every way I can think of but nothing, It seems to want to get a little way out then wont budge no matter what I try.. Does anyone have any suggestions apart from taking the diff out (which is my last port of call to be honest as I will have to take half of the flat floor and diffuser out as well!) I couldn't see if anyone else has had this same issue.

Kaan W
A neodymium magnet would, not a fridge magnet tho lol. prehaps weald something to it and pull it out or drill and tap then bolt it and give it a yank?
LOGIE
Is the magnet small enough to be blown out of the hole with a compressor?(through the filler hole). or is it a tight fit? prob a stupid idea

Dnk
Can you not get at it via the filler plug hole, if not then just take the back plate off
