Kaan W
My car seems very slow lately and after noticing its only boosting to 1bar and not the 1.8 as mapped could be the answer. I have tried using the Syvecs software but it makes no sense to me but all I can think of is it must be running as a base map for some reason. Has anyone experienced this issue do I need to unplug the battery and re connect? Edited March 19, 2013 by Kaan W (see edit history)
Littler
Just a stab in the dark but have you got the cal switch to the right setting (if you have multiple maps)?
Kaan W
Just a stab in the dark but have you got the cal switch to the right setting (if you have multiple maps)? Yeah but the first 3 are now 1Bar which are meant to be 1.8 and 4-6 are about .7 of a Bar which and meant to be 1Bar.

Ian C
Has it been sluggish since it leaked oil? Maybe you've got a 3.1 block with 2.9 pistons now
Ryan.G
Check the plumbing of the wastegate, boost pipes etc The syvecs won't go back to a base map.

Kaan W
Actually what is the plastic box with a wire where the vacuum pipes connect to? It's like a T piece but only 2 pipes connected which I took one off when fixing the oil leak, could I of put it back on the wrong one would this cause the problem? Havard
Could it be that you went that fast on one of those private roads, you actually went back in time to before the map was done?

Kaan W
How did the pipe get on the wrong port? Just a simple mistake really when fixing my oil leak it came off and I took a rough guess at which port to put it on.

And you wonder we you have so many problems , by taking a wild stab at it lol, for god sake man leave the car alone , and if you come to sell this car you might be better off not selling it on here as its got nothing but bad press, which you 99% have caused your self
Havard
Just a simple mistake really when fixing my oil leak it came off and I took a rough guess at which port to put it on. Easily done. I did the same with putting brake fluid in. I know it was one of the bottles but the paint seems to have peeled off near the windscreen since. And I would imagine a fair few would buy my car when everything's finally done and it hasn't got a bad press at all.I would never sell this with problems which is why I have spent thousands getting the car right, besides ive not even had it a year there's bound to be little things here and there which everyone experiences. I just ask more than others I suppose. By the time I come to sell, the car will be bullet proof as im going for a full rebuild over next winter built block the lot. - - - Updated - - - Easily done.
