Pedroby
For this weekend I planned a swap from GE to GTE Supra engine with an aristo loom. As the aristo comes with the autobox and my supra is an auto i got an aristo loom from the seller i bought the engine from. Its a non vvti engine jspec but i heard and found by the search some people say its quite straight forward plug and play but only the dash connectors need to be rewired one by one to connect the right wires. But maybe somebody have a wiring diagram or write up for this swap. I ve been searching different forums but havent found answers to all my questions and especially concerns. Any other tips are more than welcome!! Will post some pictures after the first day.
SPG
Do you have the rest of the items to run an Aristo engine in a Supra, sump etc?
Pedroby
The engine comes from a supra, just the loom is from the aristo as the seller only had manual gearbox looms on stock and he said the aristo would be easier as its an auto as well. Just need a few bits left such as the throttle cable, upper radiator hose and first cat, but prefer not to waste money on a cat as i prefer a 1st decat directly. As im sure in the Aristo the ECU sits in the engine bay where-as the Supra has the ECU in the footwell on the passenger side.
Swampy442
Theres a thread about it somewhere as I asked that question, an Aristo engine isnt the same as a Supra one, despite the Supra getting a development of the Aristo engine.
