Abz
I know the stock BOV is good though I quite like the sound of aftermarket BOV's (Yes, I am a chav... sometimes). Please can you recommend me one, video's would a bonus too. An no the engine isn't in yet but it is missing the stock BOV so hence this thread. DaveR
I know they get a bad press around these parts, but I really liked the sound of the HKS SSQV. The TurboSmart one I have now is more rounded and slightly more subtle, but sounds great when you come off WOT. Not cheap though. No vids of either I'm afraid... Abz
Or maybe not... Haha!! My thoughts exactly after reading your post. Keep the suggestion coming guys, so far it seems the favourite is the HKS, I'll check out the Blitz as I have heard they are pretty good too (no pun intended). a98pmalcolm
HKS one all the way fella. Pull piston not push = no chance of loss of boost
Paul Whiffin
Turbosmart range are brilliant, nice looking, lightweight and top quality. They don't do a kit for the Supra but you can still fit them if needed.
Nic
I used the old HKS Racing BOV, prefer this to the new one. http://76.my/Malaysia/[email protected]
Lee_e
HKS SSQV here too.. although im getting tired of the little squeek noise so am changing to a Blitz next week Mine is only about a year old if you fancy it ? think it has the purple fin too. Gaz6002
I had an SSQV and in the end we removed the fins so it didn't sound like you'd just trod on a mouse when you came off the throttle. I found it incredibly annoying. If I were doing it again (which I keep considering) I'd be using the HKS Racing one Nic suggested and I'd plumb it back into the intake system. Dumps valves are a bit crap if you ask me.
