Dnk
I've still got the car and the importer wants to come on Saturday now, i'm not keen on taking a large chunk of cash off someone that can't be paid straight into my bank. I've politely asked if he would do a bank transfer now so we'll see what happens

I want the car sold now mate so i'm trying to be as flexible as possible, i'm not thinking he's out to have me over but theres so many notes that are moody these days i'm a little concerned We'll see what he says and obviously he's got to be prepared to trust me to pay before seeing the car so it might be a non starter. I can see why he wants to come next Saturday as there are 2 very cheap one way flights from Lyon to B'ham Edited March 10, 2013 by Dnk (see edit history)
SpeedyAndy
it will be a shame to see it go matey, shes was a beautifull, ride was amazing when you took me out in her a few times - the ride set up was brilliant. Well hopefully you wont keep away to long

SteveR
What's on the list for serious consideration Dnk? Not sure what I'd move on to, not sure I could ever be without a Supra, but even if I were to sell up and go hunting for something else, nothing springs to mind as a desirable next car for me. Actually that's a lie, but I can't afford a Koenigsegg.
Dnk
Too many cars are running around in my head Steve ranging from an Audi Q7 to SL55 AMG Merc

SteveR
That's quite a spread of car types! I'd quite like an Aston of some description. Stylish, not that fast but not slow and besides that's not the point, and they're stand out without being too 'in your face'.
nige-rz
Look at an e46 M3 CSL Dnk. They're an investment in my eyes, you can already see the prices creeping up. They're amazing cars.
Dnk
My brother had a V12 DB7 and thats put me right off Astons so their not on the list and my budget i'm trying to stick to is a max of £20k

I had an E46 330 Ci Sport not so long ago and it was nice but wouldn't want the same looking car again so the M3 isn't a contender really

My personal favourite would be a R8

My personal favourite would be a R8 I'm not looking to replace the Supra with something that does everything it did. I want a change and it doesn't need to be a fast 0-60 2 door coupe, an R8 would be fun but find one for £20k cheapest in the trader is £40k

The Cayman is surprisingly good fun. I had one for a couple of days as a courtesy car when my 911 went in for some work, really surprised by how much of a hoot it was, quite a capable car I think. These look fantastic in most colours though, especially black or white.

A newer vette maybe. The V10 M5 is going to be too thirsty for me to live with and i've had the old shape 5 but in Alpina form so been there done that so to speak
