Alex
Had a look but couldn't find what I wanted on here already. Would appreciate an MOT tester answering the following. I'm potentially going to put my car in for an MOT before I'm ready to refit the rear seats. Based on these scenario's would it pass? 1) No rear seats or belts 2) No belts but seats installed 3) Belts in but no seats ta
listy
Iirc if there are seats, belts must be fitted. No seats, belts are not required. Can't see having belts but no seats being a problem.
-Welsh-Stealth-
1.yes pass 2.no 3no If there are seatbelts there should be seats. Also if there are seats there should be seatbelts. However if you don't have either in, it's all good. Work in a garage& words from the mot testers mouth last month.
bradleyh_15
mine passed with no seats and seat belts in! Nothing to plug the seat belts into though! And yes it was legit at a Honda dealership!
Benjy
If there's no seat, it's not a seat. You could have a belt in there that's cut 3/4 of the way through but it's not a seat so it can't be tested as such.
