NA-T help

Pulley

Recommended Posts

Ok so, first startup of the NA-T just to check oil lines, and exhaust gaskets and vband seals

Fired up straight away but then hunts badly 900-2500rpm

If you disconnect the map sensor pipe from the black damper thingy it stablises to a high idle

(Or if you pinch the pipe partially)

I'm just running the car with stock na ecu, injectors ect (off boost) just to run the engine to warm up , check lines ect

Afr's go up n down with idle speed

Might need to set it, it's a tt tps, but is identical to the na tps in its resistance and function except reversed pin output

Probably just need to tinker with the tps setting

Let us know how you get on dude, hopefully like you say just needs the tps moving around the set it correctly.

If the NA TPS is identical to the TT tps but the tt one is reversed either swap the 5v and ground pins in the connector head or swap the na tps onto the tt throttle body.

Lyndon.

The na tps rotates in the opposite direction to the tt

Internally they are mirror of each other and resistance wise they are the same

Just inverted pin outs and direction sweep

Just like to say a BIG thank you to nodalmighty for all his advice

Turns out in my haste and excitement I forgot to make a gasket to fit between my plenum and runners

Resulting in air leak , made a gasket and fitted it today and it starts and ticks over beautifully :)
