lewysdanny
Hey fella,s, i,ve had my 95 tt around 18 mths now ( my second one ) , and looking to have my rims refurbed. As they,re 20" rims, and its only where they,ve been curbed in the past ( before i owned it ) that needs addressing. Has any member on here just had the outer rim edge flatted back to get rid of the curbed scraping ??? Cheers guys Tim ( lewysdanny )
Chris Bailey
Ibrar at Speedwells! Have a look at some of his work - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?224608-Wheel-repair-amp-refurbishment-powder-coating-services
Dnk
Just doing the lip will depend on the finish, if there polished bare aluminium you will get away with just doing the lip, if their painted, powder coated or lacquered you won't and you really need to do a full refurb. Ibrars the guy to speak
Tyson
As many will tell you Ibrar's work speaks for itself. Every aspect of his business is top notch !!
downimpact
Or for a more local option see if Craig know's someone. I used Renowheels in bridgend some years back, probably wouldn't again though as the paint peeled on track. They did however remove all the kerbing satisfactorily. I've got a spare set of wheels if you need a run about while they're off being fixed.
