Pig
What in tank fuel filter do you run on your single? I have just pulled mine out and it looks really dark so I am going to change it. However, when looking, I saw this and wondered if anyone was using it? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bosch-044-413-Fuel-Pump-Inlet-In-Tank-Fuel-Filter-Adapter-M18x1-5-/170845914500?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27c735c584 Pics of my filter and also tank - notice the shit in the bottom Edited February 24, 2013 by Pig (see edit history)
JamieP
That link is just for an adaptor mate, no filter.
Pig
Good job someone read the advert properly - you would be amazed what I end up buying. Where is the best place to get the usual sock filter? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultra-Low-Profile-Bosch-044-In-tank-Hi-Flow-Fuel-Filter-Kit-with-Fuel-Sock-/140920248806?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20cf8059e6 I don't want to wait to get from abroad as I need it for next weekend. Whifbitz do one but with the adaptor, I don't need the adaptor as I already have it... Pig
https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=5813 This looks good, I am wondering if 70 micron will be too restrictive....keeps hunting - Come on UK!

Pig
http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/mazda-fuel-components-bosch-p-11721.html I spotted that but it doesn't have info about the micron size although I am sure it will be perfectly sufficient for my power levels. I dont really fancy wasting £10 on the adaptor when I already have one. I think I'll drop Paul a PM and see if he can supply something sufficient without the adaptor. There is a link for one here but its 70 micron. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aero-Tech-Sock-Filter-For-In-Tank-Walbro-Fuel-Pump-70-Micron-/221076564243?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item337930a913 As you know Jamie, wasting a day, dyno time and Ryans time because of not enough fuel can be rather frustrating!
