Aston2jz
So just got home from work, after my first ever near crash and now my offside rear wheel is making a creaking noise.. Basically, I was driving in a 60mph zone at probably 35mph, with a Corsa and another car infront of me, and a slow lorry infront of them. I waited for a good opportunity to overtake when the road was clear and took it, check mirrors, indicated out (had my lights on also) then boom as I'm on the other side of the road accelerating suddenly a Corsa that was infront of me swings out inches away from me without indicating.. had to brake hard from 60ish in an instant as I was literally about to crash, wheels screeching and lost grip. Now my offside rear wheel is making a metal rubbing/creaking noise, couldn't see anything that stood out but it sounds like its coming from behind the wheel? the noise isnt constant or random, it is once every rotation of the wheel. hope it's nothing serious, times like these I wish I had a dash cam. Paul372
Could be a few things, Wear indicators on the rear pads maybe or a stone stuck between the disc shield I've had that before, you really need to get it jack up and have alook
